🐫Books 2026

Read Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture by Martin Fowler a bit. The patterns, yes. A very fun read it was, until the initial chapters ended, and the patterns themselves started. Wow, that's unreadable on my phone! Will get to it later.

Then I moved on to the O. G. patterns book, A Pattern Language by many an author, the heavy paper copy gifted by Flancian (thank you!), including his annotations. Read through a third.

Read some manga. Finished my nth re-reading of Girls' Last Tour, re-read a few volumes of Mushishi. Both in limited paper Russian edition. I'm a big fan. Also reading Tower Dungeon by Tsutomu Nihei in ongoing.

For university, been reading Klaus Schwab's The Fourth Industrial Revolution in Russian translation. Maybe it's the translation, but it's such a bad book, both in art value and economic knowledge. Got a few chapters left.

For a few months, been re-reading The Glass Bead Game in English translation.

Since June, been reading The Dispossessed.
